CSA's are meant to connect farms to their local community and allow the community to truly uphold their farmers!
When you purchase a CSA with us you are DIRECTLY helping to support our farm to get things rolling.
By receiving payments when costs are high but revenue is low, it helps us farmers get our seeds, equipment, potting soil and all the other little things we need to start up the season.

In exchange for your early season support, you get a deal on your produce for that season.

We're able to bring MORE to the table from the fields (literally and figuratively!) thanks to your early support in the start-up season which lets us invest MORE into the whole season.

Instead of committing to a typical CSA box program that offers no choices or substitutions in produce and can have an inflexible schedule that is often hard for customers to adhere to week after week, our online store credit functions as a totally customizable CSA share. Order WHAT you want, WHEN you want it -without all the rigid CSA rules.

Going camping one weekend? No problem, skip ordering! Have guests visiting another weekend? No problem, order extra that week! Love farm fresh tomatoes? Load up on tomatoes when they show up. It's that easy!

How it works?
Purchase our promotional store credits which are loaded onto your local line account with your bonus credits. Anytime within our operational season (April-October), you may use your credits on anything in our online shop and chose your pick up options! Your credits never expire and can be used across multiple seasons. Or, if you run out of prepaid credits you can top them up (at the regular rate) anytime within the season.

How does a CSA work? Veggie boxes work by paying for a full season up front in February. By receiving payments when costs are high but revenue is low, it helps us farmers get our seeds, equipment, potting soil and all the other little things we need to start up the season.
How do I pay?
Payment solidifies your spot in the CSA. We have limited amounts of membership space available. Please place your order via our online shop. In our online shop, credit card payment is required. When ordering on local line, please select any "pick up" date to be able to complete your order--(but, any date will do! it is just a formality)
If you do not wish to purchase a share online, please reach out to us info@livinthedreamfarm.net and we can arrange a cash payment delivered to the farm or an e-transfer option if shares are still available.
What if I am going away or unable to pick up my Salad Share CSA?
You can skip a week any time, just let us know! You have one built-in "skip" with the "free week" we've included in your share. So if you don't skip any weeks, you'll receive 20 weeks worth of salad shares for the price of 19 weeks. But, if you skip, one skip is on us, any "skips" beyond that are at your own expense. However, you also have the option to gift your weekly share to a family member/friend- just let us know who is picking up. We can also donate it to a family or individual in our community in need of groceries, too! We're always happy to donate a bag that you're unable to get so that nothing goes to waste!
No refunds are given for any shares.

What if I forgot to pick up my Share?
If you miss your scheduled weekend pick up for any unforeseen reason, have no fear, we hold ALL bags/orders at the farm til Monday night and give you another chance to pick up your order here at the farm all day Monday (9am-8pm). Just shoot us a message that you'll still be coming by to retrieve it. We don't hold orders past Mondays.
When do I start to receive my produce bags?
Salad shares run from mid May to end of September. The salad shares are slightly shorter than our actual operational season to account for any possible extreme weather in the early and late season that may affect our production. We shorten it by several weeks in the beginning and end of the season so that we can 100% guarantee you your "all season greens" share. If we wish to have produce before or after your share dates, please shop with us during those shoulder weeks!

If you've purchased our "Custom CSA Store Credit", you may utilize those credits online in our shop ANYTIME we're open!
Where can I pick up my produce?
Saturdays: 10-2 Sooke Country Farmers market (John Philips Memorial Park, 2201 Otter Point Rd)

Do we grow everything that is in your CSA bag?
YES! Everything you receive is grown on our land by our family.

Can I order more farm produce or products on top of my salad share?
Yes, each week you'll have the opportunity to shop our online store and add anything else you'd like (from produce, to products, to plants) that week to your Salad Share and all items will be ready together.
What if I run out of store credit?
Top up your online store credit anytime in the season. But, all top ups are at the regular rate, not the promotional earlybird rate. The bonus credits are only offered in February during the promotional CSA sale. So be sure to grab more credits during the promo!

What if I don't use all my online credits in a season ?
No problem, your store credits never expire and can be used over multiple seasons. There are no refunds on store credit- all purchases are final.

Can I use the online store credits on everything in your online store?
YES! Store Credit can be used on anything and everything in our online shop from produce to products to nursery plants! If it's in our shop, you may purchase it !
